I remember seeing this vid a long time ago. It was one of the first that I thought seemed to have genuine activity. I could be wrong, of course it could be a publicity stunt. But I don't think the office wanted to "pull a prank" to rank in millions which I don't think was their marketing campaign plan. Nonetheless. creepy.

"CCTV footage shows the chair moving across the room, computers flickering on, shadows moving across the walls, filing cabinets opening and stacks of paper flying around the offices, causing Castlefield House to be dubbed Manchester's most haunted office block. The clip, which was first uploaded in 2012 but is still being circulated online, has long been a source of mystery for social media users and residents with hundreds attempting to discover what is going on. But now an expert has claimed he has discovered the truth behind the ghostly activities."

Scott Mackinnon, who runs Phoenix Paranormal Investigation from his home in Denton, said he has discovered the footage is fake.

The ghost hunter, who has been working in the field for 20 years, said: 'This video, though extremely well put together, is a fake.

'I did some digging into it and there are a number of ways that you can tell it isn't real.

'Some of the scenes have clearly been edited and there's a few different signifiers of it that wouldn't stand out to the untrained eye. But it is really well done.'

Mr Mackinnon helps his clients to identify paranormal activity at homes and businesses.

He led the first team to investigate a haunting at Albert Hall in Manchester city centre as well as at other historic buildings around the region.

He discovered that the footage was produced by Manchester PPI claim company Joshua Brookes Ltd, which does not seem to be based in the building.

noooo :(. It's nearly impossible to know what's fake now or real. You need like a video specialist. phenomena. Those are known as fliers or Archons.

I take offence at these people trying to make a sideshow out of a very deep and mystical experience.Who are they trying to impress.

And sometimes they can be other entities by other names. Belief systems vary, and sometimes it's just semantics, but we cannot say for sure what each is without proof. Therefore we all work within our belief systems to make sense of it all.
