Case for life on Venus now stronger

The definition of life is very broad. Life finds a way in any environment. Though i remember hearing there were way-out-in-left-field theories that a very ancient civilization lived on Venus millions (billions?) of years ago. They were supposed to be the primary 'seeders' of our solar system and were said to be extremely advanced. Would be pretty cool if that was to be true. Probably never know if it is utter nonsense or fact lol.
