It's easier to come by in bulk than belly button lint.I must admit saving dryer lint is the most frugal thing I’ve heard of. Lol
as Duke said, it makes a great firestarter, especially when mixed with petroleum jelly or hand sanitizer. cheap but effective....lolI must admit saving dryer lint is the most frugal thing I’ve heard of. Lol
I will keep this in mind lol, I have learned something new.as Duke said, it makes a great firestarter, especially when mixed with petroleum jelly or hand sanitizer. cheap but effective....lol
I keep some wrapped up in foil in my "fire kit" along with some char cloth and a few other useful items. The kit is about the size of a coin purse and easily slips into a coat pocket.I save a few things, the oddest being dryer lint. I keep plastic jars of it in our winter survival kits in our cars. It makes a great fire starter, especially with a few drops of hand sanitizer gel.
I have never in my life seen so many hoarding dryer lint! lolI keep some wrapped up in foil in my "fire kit" along with some char cloth and a few other useful items. The kit is about the size of a coin purse and easily slips into a coat pocket.
In the spirit of full disclosure, when I first typed the title for this thread, I typed Fugal. lol
