Ancient Burial Sites

This was interesting to go through. There seems to be such a strong connection to the body even after death. The living want to provide for the deceased as if the soul could still resides there, and what a horrible thought that is. I have had the consideration more often as I have grown older on how I want to be buried, but really does it matter? I don't see how any consciousness could reside in a decaying body, so my thoughts go to the cheapest and environmentally friendly possibilities. Then I shudder and don't know what to think about it. What do you all think about burial? does it really matter? Does God care?
 
I'm going for cremation! No way am I going in the cold ground in a box! Then maybe dug up by future archeologists or construction company building something.
