i remmeber the old show superman my dad told me the guy thought he could fly in real life and jumped out of a window and died

In the original, he could fly.......but Columbia had such a low budget that they turned the flying scenes into animation/cartoons. Bennet did a great job with it, but he should have had a Republic budget.

That was the rumor. He shot himself in the head. It's a great mystery. Some think it was murder. A movie was made about it, "Hollywoodland (2006). Not a great film!
