its not like a needle prick, more like a bad scrape...the needles should only penetrate about 2mm deep. so, not really breaking through the entire layer of skin...

apparently the inner calf is a very sensitive area...lol.... only got the outline done on that one, finished the outer calf but it was trying to say the least......
