I am the inland Valley at the base of the Sierra hours East of the Pacific Ocean ; freeze sufficient to set fruit & wreck citrus without rescuing
Flowers only bloom in winter under the eve in a L formed by two walls by the clothes dryer vent it creates a strange ecosystem niche sort of like a freeze protection but you can see the brown petals that froze / They are by the dryer vent
