Good Friday morning, all. Happy Holy Friday and Happy Passover to those who believe.
Forgiveness. Hard to ask for sometimes; hard to grant sometimes. Many people are wronged. The natural impulse is to react negatively towards that person who does a thoughtless or uncaring or evil act; or worse yet, keep those feelings of anger bottled up inside.
It may take awhile, but forgiving that person releases those negative thoughts and allows you to move on. It allows YOU to take control, instead of the other person. You are not accepting what that person did, not condoning the actions. You are saying, "I'm not going to allow your actions to affect me any more.
" My gift to you is forgiveness. My gift to myself is the freedom to move on "
