Santa is test driving little Jimmy's Christmas gift. It is part of the quality control program.
Selectric I had a scooter in my second year of college. It was a blast. It belonged to a guy on my dorm floor from New Jersey who was a Big Ten offensive lineman. The thing about lineman is they are essentially great big giant ballet dancers. So he was pretty coordinated.
But he would ride his scooter to practice and for some reason was unable to dismount. He kept falling over and the coaches saw him and wouldn't let him ride it anymore. They have to protect their investment.
