Now, back in the 50's, it was very common to go to the door with a gun.

Not at my house. My Dad had guns, but they were locked up. His was for hunting, only.

Aside from the incidents I can't talk about I did see a classic UFO with a friend of mine in his house, a silver oval we observed for about 5 minutes, this was no balloon or anything like it. I tried to grab some video on my first generation smart phone but you can't see anything.

I know the sky, I know aeroplanes and this is the real deal.

Combined with my previous experience which had already had me convinced well, what can I say? These things are for real but I won't speculate on what they are

So many abductees claim these beings can change their molecular structure to go tthrough walls, maybe thats why bullets just pass through them

I think this is possible. With the new info on Quantum physics and other dimensions, it actually is proabable.

I have a friend that married a man from the mountains in Pennsylvania and they always answered the door with a gun lol
