Son is going for the large grocery pickup tomorrow. That includes all the dry goods like shampoo, soap, dog food etc. plus food. He keeps reminding me we have a Kia...lol

Pretty unsettling around here! Since around three PM, there have been helicopters circling the area. I can't believe it's been going on this long. I called the non-emergency police line and the desk person said it was nothing to be concerned about, and that the helicopters were media. Well, if the media is circling like vultures, then something must be going on!

It seems that there have been two shootings in a nearby apartment building. But I am not sure when they happened, because of how long the helicopters have been circling.

Funny story
In the weeks leading up to Y2K I kept seeing helicopters flying up and down the streets. I would work in one town and see helicopters and being another town the next day and see more helicopters. Day after day.
One day I figured out that they were County Sheriff choppers.

I asked my friend who was chief of detectives what was going on ? Y2K stuff ?

He said they have a new helicopter pilot from out of town and does not know the roads. And he would fly each helicopter in their fleet to familiarize himself.
Oh well.....

But I bet it made for some good conspiracy theories for those that didn't know that answer! lol
