According to this article, Five Guys is Ohio's favorite, but I don't know anybody who eats there.

How about your state?

I don‘t know too many people in Ohio but I know Five Guys.

Guessed California and Florida correctly. Yes, I like them both. However, a Carl’s Jr./Hardy or Jack-in-the-Box burger is just as impressive to me.

Have you ever tried a burger from "The Original Tommy's?" I think they were limited to southern CA, the one I visited most often was in Burbank. Great burgers, but I wasn't crazy about their "famous" chili.

I don’t think I recall them. Let me google and see if it sparks a remembrance Duke.

I see there is a Tommy in San Diego. I know the spot Duke but don’t recall Tommy’s. I checked their website and see several items I’d try.

Five guys make a GREAT burger. Fuddruckers also make a great burger and have a huge sort of salad bar so you can put anything that you want on your burger. The local cafe makes good burgers from fresh ground beef but I love a busy burger and put all sorts of things on them. Avocado and japalino go great on a burger with maybe some grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and swiss cheese.

Danm! Now you have made me crave a good big old burger!!! It would probably tear me up but it would be worth it. I still am having problems keeping things down since they gutted me and removed 14" of my small intestine. The only good, sorta good anyway, thing that it has done is that I have lost almost 40 pounds in two and a half months. I'm getting boney! I hate that.

The only thing that makes sense is Culvers in Wisconsin and Minnesota. No In & Out or 5 Guys around Chicago, yet #1 ?

Hamburger discussions should not confuse me, but this makes me feel out of sorts. Am I being gas lighted?

Years ago, Burger King was test marketing the Triple Whopper at the PX at Ft. Knox. They kept the quality way up. It was perfect.

Yeah In-N-Out is a west coast chain, not sure I get that. I'd think White Castle would be #1 in Illinois.
