Can you show us her response?

It was not a reply that was noteworthy she just asked what issues I had and to show some examples of the tom foolery or Art bashing...

Ms. Lyon,

We all know of the reasons Art Bell left C2C and the feeling of anger at the way he was treated which was the precursor to him leaving. After Mr. Bell began Dark Matter he explained all of this and more. I can only assume, as it is logical, that the people who run C2C would be fearful of the KING returning to the airwaves. Well as of last night Mr. Bell posted this http://artbell.com/coincidence-turns-into-ultimatum/. This is what I consider tom foolery. C2C has nothing over Art bell. C2C need not act act like a scared competitor. There have been other comments Mr. Bell has made and he has eluded to other things with guests as well. Would Johnny Carson tell a guest not appear on Dick Cavett and if they did forget appearing on his show? I am sure this happens but when it is made public by a guest...it makes those who did such activities look foolish and forced us, the consumers, to choose a side. Art Bell is one hell of a host...he made Coast what it is. He deserves the respect to be left alone in my opinion. Coast is a great show, I continue to watch it. The actions of your company or individuals is forcing me to choose......right now I am loyal to both.

Thank you for your concern about the health of Coast to Coast AM. Please describe what you consider to be "tom foolery and Art bashing." Thank you. Lisa Lyon, Producer

I have been a listener to Art since 95. His show was chalked full of ghosts..bigfoot....ufo's....Demons and all sorts of science fiction and science fact. For years the show has been tedious and boring. I used to listen nightly now once a week at best. I am a paid subscriber. What I am trying to say is your show is causing me to consider subbing to Dark Matter Only. I have room for both but have no desire for the tom foolery and Art bashing that is going on. The direction the show is going is forcing me to consider cancelling.....lets buck up and get the show like it used to be...

Ms. Lyon,
Thank you for posting that. I am surprised that she was so civil. I love how everyone is towing the company line with their "Who, me?" attitude.

Art mentioned that George is saying "raging through the night".

He also talked about telling George to "be himself" on the air when they first met.

I heard this episode. Art Bell remarked, after someone asked him for advice regarding "getting into radio" that the only advice he ever gives is to "be yourself". I thought this was a very interesting comment. AB also said that "If you do not 'be yourself', then they (meaning radio management.....or perhaps radio listeners) will find out."

Bell also said that he did not "pick" Noory, but that he had "met him once" and given him the above-stated advice.

I don't know all of the office politics surrounding C2C, and I'm not really interested.

Bell ended his comments by implying that Noory was not following his advice to "be yourself". At this point, I have a question. Over the last ten years, Noory has sounded pretty much the same to me, with regard to his radio presence. Do anyone understand what Art Bell was really saying here??

Yeah, he was just saying that Noory is two-faced and a opportunist. He plays mister nice guy and always the humble, likable guy act on the radio, but in real life he is not that guy. Art is the same guy on air or off. George is more acting a character when he is "hosting" C2C. In real life he is cut-throat, manipulative, petty, vindictive, etc., etc...

I found the interview with Charles Faddis to be fascinating. He seemed to be the real thing, a field operator who had been involved in counter-terrorism operations. He also discussed the possibility of a biological attack against the West - without sounding like he was trying to entice paranoia or panic. I would like to find this episode on podcast somewhere. Too bad some of the other "Dark Riders" did not find this show as engaging.
