Welcome to the forum Surge!I thought the guy was boring, as well. From the tease I thought it would be a good show, but the guest didn't really keep my interest.
(New poster, BTW, and another Coaster who is glad to have Art back.)

Can you show us her response?
Thank you for posting that. I am surprised that she was so civil. I love how everyone is towing the company line with their "Who, me?" attitude. It was not a reply that was noteworthy she just asked what issues I had and to show some examples of the tom foolery or Art bashing...
Ms. Lyon,
I'll be aroundWho's coming in tonight to tackle the replay?
Does this interest anybody?
The show may be over but I still say.... IT'S SHOWTIME!
Art mentioned that George is saying "raging through the night".
He also talked about telling George to "be himself" on the air when they first met.
Yeah, he was just saying that Noory is two-faced and a opportunist. He plays mister nice guy and always the humble, likable guy act on the radio, but in real life he is not that guy. Art is the same guy on air or off. George is more acting a character when he is "hosting" C2C. In real life he is cut-throat, manipulative, petty, vindictive, etc., etc...I heard this episode. Art Bell remarked, after someone asked him for advice regarding "getting into radio" that the only advice he ever gives is to "be yourself". I thought this was a very interesting comment. AB also said that "If you do not 'be yourself', then they (meaning radio management.....or perhaps radio listeners) will find out."
Bell also said that he did not "pick" Noory, but that he had "met him once" and given him the above-stated advice.
I don't know all of the office politics surrounding C2C, and I'm not really interested.
Bell ended his comments by implying that Noory was not following his advice to "be yourself". At this point, I have a question. Over the last ten years, Noory has sounded pretty much the same to me, with regard to his radio presence. Do anyone understand what Art Bell was really saying here??
