What do you guys think about "imagination"? I wonder why we have one. So often, intuition is discounted by saying "it's just my imagination" but it seems we were given it as a tool

I agree with you. If we cannot imagine things, we have no way to see possibilities. Or understand information when it's given us.

Think of artists...both in art and music. They have to "imagine" to create.

Concerning my specific example I really do hope that is not any sort of intuition. I have no time or space for flying purple puppies in my life right now

Imagination can be used for rehearsal 4 future events.
Figuring out probabilities.
But yeah it sure blurs with intuition. Discernment is the dickins!:)
