I Don't Know What I Saw But I Need Your Help

My first thought was a Black Dog moreso than a skinwalker, especially with the red eyes. In the ancient Celtic lore they are guardians of dark beings or places. Think of a Hellhound guarding Dracula's Castle or even the legend of Cerberus. However the stories of Black Dogs in the Northeast America region are a bit more neutral. They certainly can be agressive but they may also simply warn or lead someone away rather than attack.

where I live Natives are very common and own lots of grounds

Gabe told me the location and I just wanted to throw a little information into the thread for those who would like to research the indigenous people. I'll not directly say his home, but it's one of those places pretty easy to identify.

Gabe Redmond .. I will take this down if you'd prefer it not being here.
I also want to ask if you know of other natives other than these, who are the only mentioned in a little search I just did.

"Indigenous people living on the land now known as (Gabe's province) are the Mi'kmaq, who have lived in Mi'kma’ki, traditional Mi'kmaq territory, for at least 12,000 years. Mi'kmaw know the (province) as 'Epekwitk', meaning "lying in the water". You can visit the (province) today and explore the living culture of Mi'kmaq people through pow-wows, at the cultural centre located on the Lennox Island Reserve, and through the art of local residents."

Hi Gabe. From the history of the location, it being a war hospital and then having a lot of deaths it has a lot of negative history to start. You describe it as having a rep for being haunted. It only makes sense that entities identifying with or feeding off those low vibrations would be present. Now add in the Native American history and it sounds like the perfect place for a paranormal event. I agree with Debi that you may never know what it was. The important thing is what did you learn? I think it showed you that there is more to this life than what we see. What you do with that knowledge is your own spiritual quest.

Was this near reservation land? And was it standing on its hind legs or have any "humanoid behavior"? I dunno, but debi might be on to something about the skin Walker thing. 5 feet tall????!?!?!?!?
The home is a 5 minute drive away from a reservation of natives who have a strong connection with wendigos.

You don’t live near there correct? I would just stay safely away from this spot.
