Definitely PUMPKIN pie- but chocolate pie is tasty as well

Chocolate pie. Very unpopular opinion but I have NEVER been a fan of anything pumpkin. I have tried it a hundred times a hundred different ways and I have never liked it. Chocolate pie all the way.

Pumpkin pie is a staple in my family. My grandmother makes it from actual pumpkins, not the canned filling which usually contains no pumpkin whatsoever. My grandmother passed the recipe on to my mother who then passed it on to me. Someday I will entrust it to my children.

I enjoy the occasional french silk chocolate pie, which I also make myself, but pumpkin is still my favorite.
