My daughter is 2.5 years old and has recently (since November) has been talking about her friend Uncle Toby. When asked what he looks like, she says he is pink (pink hair, shin, shirt, pants) and wears a pink hat. She said he is nice but says his heart is broken and he’s sad.
mad a 2.5 year old, she knows colors and shapes, but I don’t know where she got that name, the color, or the term “broken heart”. We don’t know anyone named Toby in the family or friends to boot.
I guess I’m am a concerned parent, in that I don’t know if this is an imaginary friend or if this is potentially a phenomenon. We live in a house in West Virginia that is 120 years old, we are active military and we never noticed anything strange after living here for nearly 2 years. Has anyone experienced something like this? Does the color pink mean something?
