A leisurely canoe trip down a serene river held the shock of a lifetime when a boater ran aground on the back of an alligator. Michael Mccarthy realized his predicament shortly after his canoe came to a stop on what appeared to be a rock. Instead, it was a alligator attempting to surface. In an interview with InsideEdition.com, Mccarthy says he was on the back of the alligator for about 30 seconds before the animal re-submerged.
