I was reading the Joyita took on water on the Pacific and the crew and passengers disappeared. Coast Guards made a report after finding the it out there near Samoa.

I wanted to update a summary of a chapter in Britt Pitre's book "Unsolved" about motor vessel called the Joyita..little jewel. November 10, 1955 found 30 miles from its destination between Samoa and the Tokelau Islands without 25 crew and passengers. The government of New Zealand's commission reports in their investigation makes for some interesting reading although I wouldn't bother to obtain a copy via internet from the Commonwealth Library of Australia. Newspapers added false details ( a reason why I read our forums for entertainment because the mainstream media gets tiresome ) which I hesitate to add with current claims of fake news so controversial. Anyway, for aesthetic purposes here's my rendition of the Joyita art.
