For the record I am totally against Chimeric research. I was relieved to see at least they stayed within the same species on this one. I don't think it is a good idea to mess with Gods creations. There is a reason cross breeding doesn't happen in nature and I believe it is to protect the delicate balance of creation. I personally do not like animal experimentation. I see all life as sacred and even though I eat meat their lives served a natural purpose within the cycle of life. Torture is not honoring the spirit of a creature and I believe keeping animals in cages to be experimented on is tragic and unnecessary. If it served a purpose, we would have a cure for cancer instead of breeding green glowing monkeys. This article is horrifying, and I shudder to think what they have done behind closed doors. God help us.
