Scientists will study the weirdest stuff. Of course stuff is stored away. Just the thought of trying to forget something brings it back to the forefront of your brain. I don’t know about you but my stuff is stored in drawer 13 way in the back of the space. It is clearly marked do not disturb or suffer the consequences. No research needed. Lol.
