When my mum remarried about 4 years ago, horrifying, lol. Her new husband is ok but had the hide the other day to say I should call him dad. At 58 and a grandfather, not likely as I told him lol.

Well, that had to be an awkward conversation! Yikes!

I had a step father for 45 years that I didn't get on with and have his surname, then this guy saying to call him dad plus saying I should change my name to his. I'm thinking of changing back to my real father's surname after this insanity, lol. When he said this, my daughter's bloke was there, he is a big tough scaffolder. I said maybe you should call me dad and he laughed the place down.
