The cold is of the Arctic Variety!
Time to stay inside and warm, so tell us what you are cooking up to stay warm and doing to keep yourself entertained!
Today a lasagna is going in the oven. Later this week it's a chili fest here! Extra blankets on the bed, and we're deciding what to watch in marathon mode.

Definitely staying inside....Gyda is stocked with food and drink for a dew weeks....
So it's bingeing kids shows while watching an old tv show from the 90's

We’re stocked, but I’m hoping the power doesn’t go out. It was out for at least a week to a week and a half last time and I felt like I was under house arrest. There was so much ice nobody could go anywhere.

My daughter and grand daughter live in Oregon, and they are in the middle of an ice storm and freezing temps. Their power has gone out she is worried about food spoilage.

I wish I had a good story for today, like I baked bread and made soup but nope, I just hung out and didn't do much today. We had canned soup and heated up tamales for dinner. Garnet, I hope your daughter is ok. Sorry to hear about her situation.

I have been trying to convince her to go to one of the shelters for keeping warm, but she tells me that lot of scary people are allowed in, often becoming violent.
