This is NOT a good thing for sports or the current world climate. Banning a country flies in the face of the purpose of the Olympics. Banning individual athlete's that cheated is one thing, but not an entire country. Russia is feeling more and more like there is a target on them. The world needs to be careful....
The IOC is just as guilty. The doping rules are so complex, and poor nations can't afford to cope with the cost. Hulu has a documentary on the IOC.
Throw in new rules where men can compete as women......... Well maybe the Olympics need another 1900 years hiatis.
