Law officer shot, another wounded on Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation. This is in upper, central North Dakota. Reservation for Chippewa. My ex husband is Chippewa..hence my girls are too. Some of his family used to live here. It has never been known as a safe town, so things like this aren't a big surprise unfortunately. Prayers to the fallen officer and his family.
