A recent study conducted by scientists from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Rutgers University has revealed the New York City metropolitan area is slowly sinking at an average annual rate of 0.06 inches.

This is a problem for sure, another reason to get out of the city. Cement is heavy.

Atlantic City is probably sinking as well...though wouldn't be a total loss lol.

Atlantic City is probably sinking as well...though wouldn't be a total loss lol.

I visited once and I hate to say I wasn't impressed with how the people treated us. I met a lot of rude people there. I am sure there is some really nice ocean views though.
