Yes, every kid adores celebrities and wants to BE a celebrity. They worship basketball players and the hip-hop culture, and literally kill for the shoes worn by the millionaire players. They worship singers, dancers, and actors - all great things when taken in moderation and put into perspective. The days of looking up to teachers, scientists, nurses, doctors, etc. are long gone.
