These cities are having drone shows instead of fireworks displays for Fourth of July celebrations

Salt Lake City kicked off the city's Fourth of July weekend with its drone show instead of a fireworks display on Saturday.

I think it is an excellent alternative for places that can't do their displays over water. I don't think it will solve the back yard guy shooting off rockets though. That is the real problem for fires and pets. The small fireworks like sparklers and fizzers are fun for kids but the big rockets are a real danger.

Been some blammers for the past few days, but not like the one year. I think that guy went way overboard. Think he was trying to mimic a grand finale at a sponsored/licensed show lol.
