There's nothing in the first one, it's meant as a heading photograph of a family picture for the article. Very annoying.

There is an extra had in that one too, It is in the middle of the pic where you think it is the dads hand but it is too small and in the wrong direction from his arm.

I saw the extra hand right away. Some years ago I noticed that some group photos do have extra hands, feet and other anomalies due to photo fakery so I started looking for it whenever I see group photos like that. It's become automatic whenever I see a group photo.
