If the concept of entering other realms while dreaming is accurate as we believe, then absolutely. It can be very dangerous. Been there, saw that. But that's my opinion, such as it matters.Controlling Your Dreams Is Cool and All, but Can Lucid Dreaming Be Dangerous?

I agree with you, Select, which is why I don't "try" to lucid dream. I've got enough going on with regular dreams, much less trying to walk between worlds.
I think there is astro traveling and being on the astral plane, which is probably dangerous, I don't know if lucid dreaming in just the dream state is the same. If it is only our imaginations it could be a real fun adventure. Knowing the difference seems to be the key. I have never been able to achieve a lucid dream, at least one that I can remember. I have had dream experiences that seemed real but I think I was visiting in spirit somewhere.
