We don't know all of t he details. Art and his family huddled and decided that it was time for Art to stop broadcasting after the series of intruders on his property.

If there were shots then I am sure Art would have reported them to the police.
And if there is a report to the police it would also end up in the local paper about a potential threat.

That's the way it works here in Tennessee.
 
They should have open lines for Art Bell fans.
 
A tough one? She has no clue what paranormal radio is about.
