We generally do re-roofs, so we start by tearing off the old roof. We don't focus on new construction. New construction is usually a big developer who hires his own laborers to slap those shingles on. We deal with homeowners directly who have owned their homes for years and help them take off the old stuff and get a fresh good one on. So it's restoration, and that's why it's more rewarding and customers are appreciative.
I ask because i'm in drywall / plaster .Mostly Remodel stuff here

when I was younger I did tear offs and humped shingles while the nailers shot nails at me. I'll tell you I dont miss it Lol.

We just do exteriors, so it sounds like you do interiors. If one of your customers ever needs a new roof, maybe I can give you a referral fee for connecting us.
