WEEKEND LIVE CHAT

Cool. This is going to be a loooonnnngggggg night.

Making progress on the other thing we discussed?

I got my incense in the mail yesterday, My St. Benedict medals are on the way. I haven't had much luck finding a couple of backup people though. I reached out to a local paranormal group, and got an extremely condescending, rather insulting response

Yeah I thought so. The tone of the email was "Step aside little boy, let the pro's take care of it". I didn't fire back that I was a sensitive, as well as a trained degreed scientist, and had a fairly good working knowledge of the paranormal, (always room to learn more of course, more answers=many more questions)
I'll go solo if I have to, but haven't given up yet

I miss the informal group I used to belong to. I was always the skeptic/scientist. I am a believer, but I always try to find a logical prosaic explanation if I can. Sometimes a slamming door is just a random breeze, you know.

Exactly. It's the way I work as well. I tend to turn it upside down and sideways before saying paranormal. Must be a medical person's approach...rule out, rule out, rule out before diagnosing.

Exactly. Keep an open mind but don't let your brain fall out. I get a little frustrated with the self proclaimed psychics, that paranormal groups tend to attract. I think most of them are like the Larry Cooper character in The Men Who Stare at Goats. Cold reading frauds. My own gifts are sporadic at best, and tend to only work when I really need them to, and usually on their own volition. Maybe that makes me a little cynical, but I would rather doubt and be proven wrong, than be duped.

I have found 3 versions of the prayer to St. Michael, The original that seems to be directed to the church in general, then there is a shorter, but long version, and a short version. I have all three on my flash drive and a copy of the original one hanging in the house.
