Your most vivid dream: THE DREAM THREAD

I am not familiar with your DJ, but from everyone who's talked about him he sounds like he was much loved.

I've had a few of those dystopian nightmares myself recently. I think the world energy is just off the charts right now. My last one involved Jeff Goldblum saving the world...again.

The station has been having tributes for him since Wednesday. The outpouring of people from all over has been very nice to hear. He was a decent guy and having listened to him for many years, this loss actually hit me. His 45th year at WMMR would've been next month i believe so, many years of waking up and or having lunch and hear him speak became routine.

He was supposed to interview Bryan Adams on Wednesday i believe and once he heard the news, he gave him a tribute at his concert that night. Many musicians have reached out with their memories of him. Large legacy to say the least.

The loss of an icon can trigger dreams. And it sounds like he was truly an iconic figure.

Remember having a super highway dream a couple months ago. Dreamed my Hindu online girlfriend walked past me in a place with shops like in a shopping center mall or close together. She glanced up at me as walking past as if in a hurry. I follwed behind from a distance in a exit hallway between store shops. I ooked out exit door to see her open car door speak something to her brother who was sitting passenger side. Then walked around car to driver side opened the door to drive off with her mother in back seat. She started to drive off on to a super highway.

A few weeks later the same dream continued she was on this super highway driving from India across the ocean and other countries toward Atlantic ocean. I could driving across the ocean on super highway above it wth her mother and brother in the car. They reached the United States her driving over a couple states. I was standing at the exit door of mall wiih the shops. Looking out the door watching for them to drive up a fresh blanket of snow covered the roads and parking area. I got x-ray vision in dream to see black ice from 1st 2-3 snow had melted some then froze to ice. As the car left super highway and her driving toward place with shops my friend realizing the slippery situation. Car began skidding as she applied the brakes. I ran out there quickly opened car door jumped inside while it was still moving. Got foot on brake with one hand on steering wheel. She smiled then asking how did I get it stopped.

Dream happened in the summertime, yet the ending it snowed like first couple snows we get early November (some years later). No salt trucks out on roads no plowing snow from roads either. White blanket of fresh snow covered everything including black ice from snow melting then frozen 2 nights before.

I am feeling stumped by recurring dream images. I keep dreaming that I am walking around with a handful of wires, such as earbuds, computer wires, connecting cords, etc. The other image that recurs is a lost purse, but I always get it back. Another image is cell phones. In one dream there were two old school cell phones (imagine a Nokia) and they were taped together with packing tape the front facing the front of the other. I also dreamed of my own cell phone. Finally, I dreamed of a stack of checks made out to me. (That would be nice, actually!) I know that dreams often mean something other than what is shown, so does anyone want to hazard some guesses?

I feel like it should be obvious but I am not getting it.

My first guess would be feeling reliant on devices and how we must carry them with us, possibly too much. Another thought by combining them all, if they are all part of same dream or different, would be the idea of communication or perhaps lack of that you are waiting for. The checks represent money and the idea of freedom to a point. Perhaps you are waiting for some form of freedom to be communicated to you and the taped phones mean something is keeping you bound from that?
