I'd have to say Big Valley because there are some very big names in that series that I'm familiar with from older films or TV series I've seen.

MASH - always need a few laughs and a few good cries too.
My favorite character on Sanford and Son was Dr Caldwell. He only appeared in maybe half a dozen episodes, but was a hoot. He was always smoking and had a bad cough. When Lamont asked him if he was really a doctor, he replied he was a doctor on Tuesdays and Thursdays, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays he worked at the post office. He responded to most medical questions with, "I don't know."
