Wreckage?

The problem with guys like this (elected federal officials) is they are granted de facto security clearances without background investigations, they are deemed trustworthy as a function of being elected. Same goes for high level political appointees. They are also virtually immune from prosecution for revealing classified information because they didn't need/accept a clearance and the stipulations that go along with a background investigation vetted clearance.

If I had done what this idiot did here, I'd have had my clearance pulled immediately, and probably would have been prosecuted.
