‘Demon possesses woman’ on TV only moments after neighbour’s exorcism
The astonishing attack was caught on video by a TV news crew who were in the area to interview locals about the woman’s supernatural experience.
But to the journalists’ horror, instead of questioning a woman about her neighbour’s liberation from the demonic powers, they reportedly witnessed her being possessed.
The bizarre scenes happened in Tipitapa, Nicaragua after the woman’s family claimed she had been suffering from “months of strange behaviour”.
They added she had been “tormented by evil spirits” for three months and it had left her aggressive toward people.
In the clip she can be seen wide-eyed and behaving bizarrely before throwing a shoe at neighbours who tried to approach her.
After hearing about the woman’s possession, two priests from a nearby church performed an exorcism to free her from the demons.
In the video they can be heard chanting: “Leave her in peace. Leave her in peace. Leave her in peace.”
According to locals the exorcism appeared to work as the woman calmed down after hours of praying.
However only moments after the demon reportedly abandoned its victim, a neighbour who was being interviewed by the news crew collapsed to the floor.
Footage then shows the two priests performing another exorcism to free the second woman from the demon which “jumped bodies”.
Following the shocking incidents, the reporters from central America suggested the residents of the San Jorge town had been “dabbling in the occult”.
