I wouldn't doubt the cover up, but i can see the whole reason being money. It was an expensive venture back then. I can also see the whole idea of aliens kicking us off of the moon. I guess depending on context, either could work. Now, other countries have made it up to the moon (assuming) so if say we never made it up there, that stink would've been thrown out there by now. I vote for Shatner to get back up into space and head to the moon to answer those questions. Get to it, William!
