man, ive got 20 year old bottles of jack daniels, never seen any kind of fungus growing from them....lol.
I was totally unaware of this fungus. The article didn't mention if it was dangerous to health or just a nuisance.

The company clearly needs to protect the community from property damage and unsightly fungus. I am not buying it isn't dangerous to people's health. If it can damage property and trees, what is it doing to people's lungs. I hope we can follow up on this story, I had no idea this was a thing.No known health effects.
