ever played ANY "sims" type game... you build a world, populate it, and then control the happenings of that world. by either manipulating the people, the events, the places etc.... you can reach in and move 1 person and control him/her or you can manipulate and control multiple people/ events separately at a time.... while the others just go about their business, living out the world you created......now with the introduction of AI each "sim" is even more evolved....maybe we ARE just in a simulation....and we are just "sims" for a higher race of beings... just cluelessly living out a program for the entertainment of another........ the question here then is who is the original,? the ones who created us?.. or are they just a "sim" for another... just a long line of creations, sims creating sims creating sims....over and over....forever repeating......Ok, im sorry, i know this is as far away from the story as it gets, kinda, but while thinking of something controlling one or multiple people or world events, this is what came to mind....yeah, out there, i know......
