Hmmm ... I travel a lot because of my research ... my current location has a karst (limestone) topography, so it has caves, sinkholes, intermittent streams, steep hills with vegetative changes from top to bottom ... fun stuff to explore.

Summers are the best in Michigan. We are surrounded by lakes and there is always something to do outdoors. The bad part is summer is too short. The winters here are long and harsh.

Here the summers are long and the winters short. I love that too.

I like being near the local hills and woodlands. There are some great country walks to be had too, any time of year.
