Hiding until my second jab kicks in, all things considered!
So I'm still on my Asomoverse marathon. Finished 'The Stars Like Dust' last week and now on 'The Currents of Space'. The former was really really really a massive influence on Star Wars which never gets mentioned! I mean it has a young man of important lineage who's father was killed by the evil empire hooking up with a clever old man who's been posing as a harmless eccentric and a headstrong princess who bickers with him a lot, an escape where the enemy are happy due to the tracking device which will lead them to the rebel planet and at one point the hero worries that the empire may have a ship which can destroy a whole planet! And everyone is searching for a secret document. And you never see the Khan, only his agent and a general.
Coincidence?
