I’d probably put the person under citizens arrest if they had cuff on one or both wrists. When I call the police and find they’re not a fugitive, help them out in any way I can. I got kids so I can’t just let them crash. But I’d probably give them a courtesy ride to a police station or shelter.

At 3 am I don't answer the door unless I'm expecting someone like a relative who is traveling long distance.

I've been in some rough areas and people will act like they're in trouble and anyone foolish or kindhearted enough to try and help gets mugged.
