What brightened my day today was my DIL being informed by the Governor of IL that she has managed to get the month of November declared Type 1 diabetes month! YAY She will be appearing for some media information segments to bring awareness to the public about this aweful disease.

Being the star student in my group today made me smile

Really proud of my DIL for making the effort to get that done! And so happy to have our Mokey back! THAT made me smile, too!
Seeing some old friends today made me happy. Knowing that I have another week and a half to see more made me happy. Making my Dad laugh made me happy.

Letting my boy enjoy some candy made me happy. I'm pretty strict on the sugar so he really enjoys it when he gets it.
I had to laugh today at Maphoo waiting to see if he killed Mokey's computer.....the thread simply cracked me up! lol
