I have a couple of friends who assure me they can't stand curry - but they've never actually had it!

Curry is fine in certain recipes and also in moderation.

The reverse of this is that I absolutely detest cinnamon but everyone else seems to love it. Same with celery and bananas - they're all the work of the Devil as far as I'm concerned!

No nopey nope. One time when my oldest son was working at Pizza Hut in High School, we called an order in for a pizza. The darn kid saw our order and knowing my extreme dislike, put one anchovy in the middle of the pizza. Tainted my whole pizza! I was not amused.

I do like bananas as long as they are Chiquita. Most have a bland flavor imo. Those, i love.

One thing I can't get my head around is how men can drink whisky (or women, for that matter!). My Dad loves a single malt and over the years I've had a tiny drop here and there to see if I like it. I never do. I just end up wrinkling my nose and asking him "how on earth can you drink that stuff?" Same with beer, actually - it tastes really bitter to me. And red wine...
