I've had the same dream since I was a child about the night I die. It's never changed and still have it to this day. I have 0 fear of death and have almost died more times than I can count.
I don't wanna go to heaven or some afterlife or be reincarnated. I just want to go and that be that.

I believe we cross to another energetic existence. Call it what you will, but I believe our soul continues on.

We all have our own ideas and beliefs of what lies beyond, but won't truly know till we leave this world. What is known for sure is we hope to depart on the express elevator of light and not the bottomless laundry chute of misery!

I've heard scientists opinions that this euphoric last act of our brain is to transition into death nicely and happily. I don't believe this theory because nature isn't that kind and it would serve no purpose to the living. I believe it is our soul ascending and I believe everyone's soul is pure whatever state their mortal brain is in.
