What did you do?

OK, are these snow tires you put on? Or chains? We used to have that years ago here in the states but not anymore.

They’re snow tires, not the chains. So my car was nicely equipped for winter driving. What made it scary was the lack of visibility at the time.

I've driven through a few lake snows like that before. Chicago area. When you can't see a thing, including a road! Now living south of Indy, we get field drift here with wind where you can't tell if it's a few inches across a road or 3 feet of drift. Which is why I try to not drive alone in the winter. I'm too old to shovel my way out anymore! And I drive a little bitty Kia Soul!
