What are you grateful for today?

I'm grateful that my new neighbour is a woman with a baby and not a raging fan of big bass or someone who harbours psychotic criminals or a dog with loose bowels. I've been worrying about who it's going to be since the last neighbours abruptly left. New neighbours are like Russian Roulette but slower. I'm now surrounded by families with kids and so happy.

For my part of the equation, I have good headphones, go out if I want loud socialising, listen to complaints and have never pooed on a balcony.

You’re a good neighbor Ben.

I can relate, because we have had four nice, quiet neighbors move out. A large, negative and loud family move into the building. They have already had a show down with another neighbor, the police had to be called about loud music, etc. Now our neighbors on the right left on Sunday, we don't know who will move in there after them. Keeping fingers crossed.
