Utter blasphemy!! Planet of the Apes is the only movie. Ever. Period. No others exist in comparison!

I must admit I agree with Sea. Planet of the apes was so sad and tragic. When they found the Statue of Liberty on the beach it was a sad ending. Probably a huge movie for the era though. I didn’t see the new one. Now the wizard of oz monkies scared most children lol. However I did like that movie.

The ending is what was the most profound part of the movie. I remember to this day where I was, it was late at night, and when the statue came into video ... Masterful!

It was a masterful moment for sure. I still remember it after all these years. I was at a drive in and watched it on a huge screen.
