Using brain waves at trials?

It is intriguing but if brain waves could be manipulated, how would anyone know if what is presented isn't fabricated? Slippery slope stuff indeed. The Trek episode where punishment is downloaded into O'Brian's mind was an interesting take on justice in future.

Its basically a lie detector test. It might be good to use to weed out those who possibly were wrongly convicted. I don't see that becoming part of a trial yet. If it worked 100 there would be no need for a judge and jury.
